Remove Windows Antivirus Pro Registry
Windows XP auto log out help?
Hey I was wondering if anyone who has real experience with computers to help me resolve my issue. Now I know a bit about computers, but I really need help now. My laptop had a trojan (the one where it’s like Antivirus Pro and tells you you need to buy it). So I ran AVG last night and it said that it removed the issues and needed to restart the computer, so I did. When I tried to log on it instantly logs me off, meaning that it deleted some of my registry keys?
I really don’t want to just reformat the computer, I have all my music, videos, and pictures on it that would be really hard to replace not to mention programs like photoshop and illustrator…Can anyone try to help me please? I am pretty desperate right now.
also I can’t log on using safe mode, it does the same exact thing.
yea, everything is on there. would it be possible for me to buy an internal harddrive enclosure (to use as an external drive) and get my data off of it even if it has viruses?
It is possible to move out the data. Though first I would check if it is possible to log in using Administrator user (no password) or guest user. Then all you would need to do is to create another user on your PC and move one by one information from your old account.
